You are absolutely correct on that point. No doubt about it.

So far the only complaint I have is my wife, who happens to be the acct holder, and my mom, who has a phone on the acct, want to wait for the automatic transition on Jan 6. Grrrrrrrrr.......

If you know the last 4 digits of your wife's SSN you can just go behind their backs and set up your phone. Each phone on an account is activated individually.
